These look terrific, is there a solid base to support your feet?
At the moment, it’s just the sole of the boot that I used for the base. I have some perfect strips of spring steel that I’m going to shape for the heel springs, and I’m planning to connect them in such a way that they ought to be fairly supportive. Hopefully it’ll work out!

I only wore them for a few minutes to take this photo, so I can’t really say yet. It doesn’t seem like it’d be impossible to navigate around a convention for a day even without the heel springs, though! It’s just walking on tiptoe, pretty much.
